Red Hat Is Growing Stronger

In the completed second quarter of the financial year, the American company Red Hat recorded a turnover of USD 183.6 million (EUR 124 million), which is almost USD 20 million higher than in the same period last year. Red Hat earned $156.3 million from product subscriptions, which is $20.5 million more than a year ago. Turnover related to training and services reached USD 17.5 million and was slightly below last year’s level.

According to the published report, Red Hat’s net profit increased by 7.8 million – to $28.9 million. As reported by The Wall Street Journal, the company’s turnover exceeded analysts’ expectations. Since July, Red Hat has been included in the S&P 500 index, which includes the five hundred largest American companies listed on the stock exchange.
