The CentOS Centrum blog used to have a very popular post about books on CentOS before it moved to the Blogelist platform. We have decided to provide an update to our readers about the current availability and market situation of CentOS books. Although the old post is still popular, it hasn’t been updated since 2009. You can find the archived CentOS Centrum blog at CentOS Centrum (Archive).

Original Post from 2009

Some time ago, a book about the CentOS system was published:

“The Definitive Guide to CentOS”

Written by three members of the CentOS team: Peter Membrey, Tim Verheoven and Ralph Angenendt. In addition to this book, there is another interesting item available: CentOS Bible. (Legacy link deleted – Blogelist Team)

These are in English, so not everyone will be interested in such a book, so I looked for something in Polish. I came to a rather sad conclusion: there are no books on the market (or there are and I haven’t found them? Maybe someone can recommend them?) about CentOS or RHEL. In any case, I recommend the above books to people who know English better than me :).
