Train Station in Katowice Ligota. It is another important article published on our local Katowice blog for several reasons. Some time ago, Katowice invested in the construction of transfer centers. This is one of them and one of the few that connect directly to the train station. (There will be a separate entry about the Transfer Center)
The second reason is more of a curiosity. Katowice Ligota is located at the beginning of line 141. Recently, we published a gallery from the closed station in Zabrze Makoszowy, where the reactivation of passenger traffic is planned. However, Zabrze Makoszowy will not be connected with Katowice Ligota again after many years. Passenger connections will lead from Gliwice to the main station in Katowice.
