We visited a shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in Ruda Śląska (it is not THIS Lourdes; we had one post from this place, today something more local) because we needed to pick up tickets to the Mała Armia Janosika concert inside the church located nearby. This is an important place as it is one of the 2025 Jubilee Churches in the Archdiocese of Katowice. The shrine is a significant pilgrimage site for many believers in the region. The Jubilee Churches hold special religious significance within the local community. The architecture and design of the church reflect the area’s rich cultural and religious history. Additionally, the shrine’s peaceful atmosphere provides a serene environment for visitors seeking spiritual solace.
