During FINAŁOWY2025, Auld Lang Syne appeared only at the very end. Not as part of the main program, but as an outro: after the concert was already over, when the lights were fading and the space slowly emptied. The music stayed for a moment longer. That moment stayed….
This special performance returns to that idea, not to recreate it, but to reflect on it. The piano is accompanied by the sounds of the room itself: small movements, mechanical noises, traces of presence. Subtle, imperfect, human. They exist before everything settles into silence.
The first part remains closer to the present moment. The second feels more distant, almost like a memory. Much like the year itself, full of activity at first, then gradually letting go.
This piece does not close only a concert or a single project.
